So how do I buy something? Anyone can browse through the ads but you will need to register first to be able to contact any of the sellers. Registration is free, quick and easy. Once you've made contact with the seller it's up to you to arrange a face-to-face meeting to complete the transaction. Check out our Help and Advice section for more information on buying and selling safely.
And how do I advertise something? That's easy, there are just 4 simple steps:
- Register which is free, quick and easy
- Go to Place An Ad and choose an ad category that's relevant to you (books, toys, clothes, things to do, eating out, events, attractions, etc)
- Select either the Business Ad or Private Ad package both of which are FREE OF CHARGE
- Upload your ad details and photos
All ads appear instantly on the site and then feature in the next edition of Toyround-Up, our weekly newsletter that gets emailed to all our registered users and shows all ads within a 15-mile radius of where they live.
FREE Ads for Private Individuals: All ads are FREE for private individuals. So if you have unwanted and unused kids' stuff cluttering up your house, try selling it on Toyround. Each ad can contain a photo and up to 200 words. Ads appear on the site for one month and you can modify or delete them at any time.
FREE Ads for Businesses: Currently, all ads are free for businesses. Each ad can contain up to 4 photos and 1,000 words. Ads stay on the site for 1 month and can be modified or deleted at any time. To get the most out of advertising your products, events and services please refer to our Help and Advice section.
There's nothing for sale where I live. Why should I advertise? Well we all have to start somewhere. And it's remarkable how quickly Toyround can grow in an area. The website is fully optimised for sites such as Google, so you may find that your ad appears on their natural search listings. We will also be doing some high profile marketing on the search engines and sites like Facebook. Offline, we will be actively promoting Toyround to schools, clubs and businesses in your area.
